It may be time for you to enjoy a rejuvenating get-a-way too! It is my belief that when you travel far & often life teaches you things that you may not otherwise have come to on your own. After all the Joy really is is in the journey. It’s the people you meet, the things you see and the experiences you have that grow you more than anything else ever could.
❤️ Below are my top 5 Reasons to Travel Far & Often.
#1 – YOU’LL SMILE MORE & STRESS LESS
Frequent getaways help to recharge your batteries. When life gets crazy we tend to get overwhelmed, stressed out and our bodies are not always in a good place energetically. Being grounded in a beautiful location will help you to smile more and definitely be less stressed. Honestly nothing is really more important than your happiness.
#2 – YOUR HAPPINESS & JOY DEPEND ON IT
People who travel are known to be more approachable, more joyful and all around easier to surround yourself with than those who lead sedentary lives. You know what they say.. All work & no play…
Seeing new places and experiencing new faces, grand adventures and living with a sense of wonder sparks Joy within ones soul. Don’t believe me? Try it! I believe you’ll like it! The travel bug bit me awhile ago and I’ve never looked back. Had to find a way to do what I love and love what I do, all while being able to support my awesome flexible lifestyle. Guess what? I set my intention & it manifested. Lo and behold Here I AM. It worked! Living proof that life is good when you’re happy & free, like me ;D
#3 – YOU’LL BE HEALTHIER
If your health is your ultimate wealth. Well then why aren’t we taking better care of ourselves? Not enough vacations? Too many deadlines. Not having enough time to do what we love? We tend to think we need more money because most are too busy keeping up with the jones’. Newsflash! It’s not all about the things you have, or the money. Guess what?? You can’t take it with you! Have you ever seen a U-Haul following a hearse? Seriously… No. It’s about the memories you create with those you love. That’s really all you’ll be taking with you when you one day cross the rainbow bridge leading over and into the Spirit side of life. It’s called priorities people and it seems most people’s priorities are all screwed up. No one ever said on their deathbed I wish I would’ve worked more. Nope! Said no one ever. Instead they’ve said they wished they would’ve lived more. Spent more time with their families and close friends, traveled to see and experience more of what this amazing world has to offer. Not to mention all the amazing places out there where breathing is easy and the warmth from the sun shines brilliantly upon your shoulders. I don’t know about you but warm sunshine on my shoulders, definitely makes me happy. Thanks to John Denver for that little ditty 😉 #SpiritSongs*My Spirits, they’re always singing, that’a how I know they’re happy.

#4 – YOUR LOVED ONES WILL BE HAPPIER
Now I’m not saying you’ll pick them up a lousy tee shirt souvenir or anything like that if they don’t join you, but your loved ones will hopefully have missed you greatly while you were away. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder if that’s what’s meant to be. Separate yourself for a few days. Remember wherever you go, there you are and you’re always only but a thought away from those you love. A slight separation in a beautiful location assists with powerful growth. Plus you’ll return refreshed, rejuvenated and renewed. Ultimately you’ll be Happier and that’s really the name of this game called life. Does that feel good to you? Ok!

Lastly
#5 – YOU’LL FIND YOURSELF
Did you ever hear the lyrics to the Zack Brown Bands’ song “Knee Deep”?
Come on in
The waters nice
Find yourself a little slice
Grab a backpack
Otherwise you’ll never know until you try
When you lose yourself
You find a key to paradise
In the song he sings about the fact that you need to lose yourself to find the key to Paradise. The ultimate true story. Often we get so caught up in the day to day monotony. It becomes the vicious “grind”, the predictable 9-5 boring work week. Most people hate their jobs. However it’s a paycheck they think to themselves, and I need it to get by. Is it really all its cracked up to be? Are you really doing what YOU love? Probably not. That’s a topic for another blog entirely. For now though.. Go take a hike! Get lost on an old dirt road someplace where your mind can roam. Grab a friend, a lover or even a dog. Just get going. This beautiful life you were given waits for no one!! Especially not you saying “when I get time”…
So here’s the deal…You won’t get more time. You have to do the best you can with what you have. Create new experiences, have more fun!
Only you can decide what’s IMPORTANT TO YOU. You have to make the time & trust me you’ll be so glad you did. Your life is waiting.. Are you ready?
